I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and wishing you all the best 2024 for you :)
After a busy end of year, am hoping to make more time to get out and about an take more photos - might even take Miss almost 9 with me and grow her love for photography.

Hello all - gosh - where has time gone...not sure but it has certainly flown by.
Had a visit to Paloma Gardens the weekend past -managed to walk into a sign...twice, get stabbed on the finger by a prickly vine...twice and a touch of precipitation to top it all off 🤣🤣🤣

It seems strange to think that it was about a year ago that I finished my UCOL course and entered 4 images in the NZIPP Photography Awards. It was an exciting time and I was so happy to come away being awarded a Bronze award and Silver award...
This year I am missing feeling the thrill for myself but am super excited for others that I know who are entering and sending them positive vibes. I look forwards to seeing the awesome results from you all 🙂

Pt Two: Trip over to Woodville today to see the photographic exhibition by members of the Manawatu Camera Club at the gallery.

Some other beautiful art there as well...could have taken a few pieces home :)

My 2nd hand 85mm prime lens arrived this week so a great reason to take some photos and get a feel for it...so far - lovin it 😍
