SOLD OUT!!! 🥳 We are so feeling the love Pahiatua. This show has been worked on tirelessly and after our dress rehearsal tonight, we heard the news that we are officially SOLD OUT for all shows 😍

An interruption from our Vicar of Dibley announcements. We want to put it out there that as soon as the final curtain closes on Dibley, we’re ready to search for talent and prepare our next play!

Murder at Rutherford House is an interactive murder mystery and will be directed by the one and only David Lea. We are so excited to have David back in the theatre and look forward to seeing people at auditions!

STAGE MANAGER INTRODUCTION ⬇️

Letitia Hodder (Stage Manager)

Best known for rolling around town in love heart sunnies with a car full of kids, Letitia has a long standing passion for all things theatre.

Although usually preferring the spotlight on stage, lately her roles have been behind the scenes directing, teaching, presidenting (is that a word?), and stage managing 🎭

Letitia has stage managed a few productions with more children than she can keep track of, but this is the first time she’s taken on the job with an adult cast and a big set. A lot has been learned, and she’s hoping to give it another go someday if she can be convinced to stay off the stage. We’re grateful to have an awesome backstage crew pulling this show together!

The cast say Letitia can be heard quoting “I need more attention,” and “clap louder.” You know what they say… It’s not called drama for nothing!

Letitia hopes you enjoy the show, the first play Pahiatua Repertory Society has produced in years and plays are truly close to her heart (over musicals, you didn’t hear that secret from us 🤫)

Have fun with it, come along and be loud, laugh, and get into the vibe of going to the theatre! 🎭

DIRECTOR INTRODUCTION 📣

We welcome Siân Howarth to PRS, for her official debut as a director 🙌🏼 Comedy enthusiast and lover of all things dramatic, she’s thrilled to be bringing the nostalgic 90s British comedy to our little community stage. Originally from Britain herself, Siân feels right at home in the wonderfully quirky world of Dibley — because let’s be honest, every small town has its colourful characters… and Pahiatua is no exception.

It’s great to have Siân on board as both a committee member & debut director! 🎭
