tion to dance in a fun environment designed to develop movement, coordination and musicality. LDI CLASSICAL BALLET (from 5yrs). Our beautiful LDI (Living Dance International) curriculum is a blend of French and Russian ballet styles and is a cohesive approach which works out from the centreline of the body. It brings understanding of the body without forcing young dancers joints. LDI JAZZ & CONTEMPORARY (from 5yrs). Drawn from early American Jazz, Graham, Ailey and Limon style techniques with music from contemporary Christian artists and without the sensual movement. PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES & DANCE EXAMS In Term 2 we have a Mid Year Display concert to increase students on stage confidence & experience . In Term 3 we have our dance exam season with an international examiner. These are optional but give students 'honour where honour is due' and a sense of achievement. In December we hold an annual full dance school End of Year Recital in a concert auditorium in full costume. Each year we aim to have a group visit to see the Royal NZ Ballet perform in Christchurch, NZ.
