I have been asked many times now for Tūi birds. And I totally understand why, they are almost magical!

Every picture I see they are different colours! Their feathers are just stunning. I have a few different versions and poses im working on for several orders but here is one thats ready for you to see, catching rays and enjoying Kowhai flowers, before it's off to its new home!

I was asked to whip up this little number in memory of a very special dad that really knew his daughter well and was very close, her best bud.
There is a very sweet story that goes along with the vibrant swirly yellows in this rose and I know it will make this lovely lady smile and think of her dad each time she sees this one catch the sun. Joy all round... just another reason I love glass!

On my bench today is this little fun little project! Some hammered, textured, RARE, vintage, purple stained glass panel that started life as a stunning window in a big old home but sadly aged, sagged, got a bit grimey with time and was discarded. I came across it in my favourite demolition yard and rescued it! Now it has soooo many more possibilities!

Im also very grateful and blessed to have great friends too... I was surprised and blown away with a cheeky little salvage delivery from some good friends this afternoon! Rare and vintage glass! Coloured and textured and glass that I can't buy in this country from my suppliers! They went and found these pieces for me hinding away and a retired glaziers home and knew I would be over the moon and put it to good use!
