What's on me Easel ....
This little painting started out as a pastel painting, and wasn't a favorite of mine, and that's what happens when we do art, so l packed it away and while l have been reusing my old works in my journals or creating cards so this one may have started as a pastel using watercolour over the top has given it new life, movement and depth, early works show us how far we have come, improved and changed. Let me know what you think .

What's on me Easel ...

This month's art challenge for my sketchbook art group is a 5cm x5cm "Still Life " painting to complete 10 so excuse the lighting will take photos tomorrow to show them off better, really happy how they have come out l now have 20 with last month being landscape, looking forward to nxt months challenge for our next 10 .

What's on me Easel ....
Rummaging through some old works l came across these, l should of taken a before of the top ones before l worked on them . These were my lst workshop water color abstracts using a credit card,l l forgot all about them layering the top ones and adding value and depth has bought movement and made them pop. The lower ones are from the workshop using wet on wet and a credit card to move paint to create a painting, l will layer and show you the finished work , it so good to go back to old works and see what you can do to them and give new life . It always shows me how much l have grown in my art practice, and teaching. This year l have taken time away from teaching even tho l am missing it, it's been nice to just do art for me .
