2027 MODERN PERFORMANCE TEAM AUDITIONS 🤍

Do you LOVE performing, competing and being part of a team? Our 2027 Modern Performance Team auditions are officially OPEN! 🖤

Our Modern Performance Teams give dancers the opportunity to train at a higher level, perform and compete throughout the year — from competitions and community events to some of Hawke’s Bay’s biggest events and performances!

📅 AUDITIONS — 31 OCTOBER 2026
💃 Ages 6–18 years
✨ Open to ALL dancers — you do not need to currently dance at HOD to audition!

Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send through your audition time slot along with our 2027 Performance Team booklet and everything you need to know to come prepared.

We have SO much planned for our teams in 2027 and can’t wait to see who wants to join us! 🤩🖤

Such an incredible achievement and a true reflection of the beautiful dancer and hard worker you are. To be recognised by an examiner once is amazing… but two years in a row with 2 different examiners is something pretty special! 🥹✨

This is what it’s all about for us 🥹❤️

Exam week can feel scary and nerve-wracking, but seeing all of these little notes our dancers wrote to encourage each other has made us SO proud.

Among all the “good lucks” and “you’ve got this”, the message we’ve been preaching the loudest is written over and over again…

HAVE FUN! 🥹🙌

Good technique, pointed toes and doing your best are important — but enjoying yourself, supporting your friends and being proud of what you’ve achieved will always matter more to us.

Seeing that reflected back through our students is pretty special. 🤍
