I am beyond excited to share that Purple Sprouting will soon be stocking InStitches project bags and notions pouches! They should be available in the next few days, so watch this space. The October instalment, as well as the October to December quarterly instalment, is now available for preorder.

We're saying au revoir to Paris and heading to London where historic landmarks and famous sights such as the London Eye, Elizabeth Tower (Big Ben) awaits.

It's time to reveal the August colourway for our Around the World in 12 Skeins yarn club.

In August we headed South to Barcelona, home of the Sagrada Familia, sunlit stained-glass windows and the colourful mosaics that ripple through the city's architecture.

This is a beautifully soft and bouncy merino yarn with self-patterning colours that unfold as you knit or crochet.

It's soft against the skin, making it a lovely choice for baby and children's knits and everyday pieces.

The Topelt Shawl is a delightful crochet pattern by Katy Petersen of .

The construction is simple and a great introduction to short rows. First the lace edging is created with the body being filled in using short rows.

This version was crocheted using 165g of 5ply Luna yarn in the colourway Life in a Glasshouse.

Life in a Glasshouse has been restocked on our 5ply Luna, 4ply Twinkle and 2ply Aura yarn bases.
