🎶 THE HEAVY FEATHERS – LIVE AT THE PENGUIN CLUB 🎶

The Heavy Feathers are flying into the Penguin Club on Saturday, June 27, and if you’ve been looking for an excuse to escape the couch, this is it.

Expect a night of top-notch live music, cold drinks, great company, and the occasional dance move that probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Whether you’re a regular or it’s been a while since we’ve seen your smiling face, we’d love to have you along.

It’s AGM time!

Come along and hear what we’ve been up to over the past year, what’s coming up, and how you can help keep the best little club in town humming along.

We’re always looking for new committee members. If you can make a cup of tea, pour a beer, sell a raffle ticket, or simply bring a bit of enthusiasm to the table, we’d love to see you there.

The Penguin Club is also a fantastic way to meet some amazing people, make new friends, and hear some of the incredible musical talent this country has to offer.

After all, clubs don’t run on magic—they run on good people.

So come along, have your say, and help keep the music playing, the bar flowing, and the doors open.

It’s Jam Night tonight!

The stage is waiting, the microphones are nervous, and somewhere in a cupboard a tambourine is wondering what it did to deserve this.

Whether you’re a guitar hero, a karaoke legend, a secret rock star, or just there for a cheeky dance and a cold drink, tonight’s the night to get amongst it.

Come make some noise, sing a song, play a tune, clap along enthusiastically, or perform that one song you’ve been practising since 1997.

Doors open at 8pm.

Let’s fill the club with music, laughter, and just enough wrong notes to keep things interesting.

And if you’ve heard Chrissy’s incredible voice, you’ll know exactly why this is a night not to miss.

Heavy Feathers have a knack for turning “I’ll just stay for one drink” into “How is it midnight already?” With a fantastic mix of songs that’ll have you singing along and filling the dance floor all night, they’re guaranteed to get the joint jumping.

Whether you’re a seasoned dance-floor professional or someone whose best move is holding a drink and nodding in time to the music, there’s a place for you.

The bar will be stocked, the music will be pumping, and if your feet aren’t sore by the end of the night, you probably weren’t doing it properly.

So fluff up those feathers, stretch those dancing muscles, and waddle on down to the club for a night of great music, great company, and enough good tunes to make even the shy penguins shake their tail feathers.

🐧 Hi Penguin lovers!

It’s that time again… Jam Night is this Friday!

Doors swing open at 8pm, so grab your guitar, dust off the tambourine, rescue that trombone from wherever you’ve hidden it, and waddle on down to the club.

If you’ve already signed up as a member, grab your new membership card at the door. If you haven’t signed up yet, now’s the perfect time. Memberships keep the music playing, the doors open, and stop the committee having to sell their kidneys on Trade Me.

Whether you’re playing, singing, dancing, or just sitting back with a drink and enjoying the chaos, we’d love to see you there.

Let’s fill the room with great music, terrible dad dancing, and enough noise to make the penguins on the harbour nod in approval.
