Nia Haf who was sharing his space and had to reduce her participation due to an accident will now be at Colette O'Kane's on Alamein Tce
Debbie Price-Ewen is also unable to take part due to illness but she is working on having more prints available at The Grainstore Gallery and Art on Thames

One of our local artists is opening up her home studio by appointment - Dyan from Out Of Kilter has a studio on the South Hill and has all her painted coats available to view. Dyan makes one off hand painted coats and incorporate various plaids and tartans into the design

Wow, what a weekend!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success, particularly:
Bridget Ellis who made those amazing videos
Waitaki District Council for their generous support helping with graphic design, advertising and promotion, getting the word out around the region and much much more (thanks Mel, Lisa, and Sonia)
Oamaru Opera House for embracing Meet the Maker as part of the Waitaki Arts Festival and helping with producing the brochure, providing recycled signs for Oamaru Print to jazz up with our fantastic pink logo, and much more (thanks Frances, David, and Matt)
Thanks also to Helen at Tinch Design Studio and Mel at the council, who gave me the support last year to get this event off the ground

It takes a great team to pull off a great event!

Thank you to all the artists who participated, there's be no event without you!

Hello everyone, I hope you've all had a lovely weekend meeting some of the fantastic talented people we have in the Waitaki District! Everyone I spoke to over the two days had had an amazing time meeting the artists and artisans as well as other like-minded people. There seemed to be a real buzz about the town.

I'd like to ask a favour please - could you spare a few minutes to complete a survey about your experiences over the weekend. This will help us to secure funding for next year and make it better than ever.
