The objects for which the Association is established are:
To promote and encourage the growth in New Zealand of Oval Track Racing and Associated Motor Sports on any track Licenced by the Association. To establish, maintain and control rules for the conduct of Speedway meetings;
To establish, maintain and control rules governing the type of vehicles that may compete at the facilities of members o
f the Association.To provide for the registration and licencing of competitors wishing to compete at any meeting organised by a member of the Association. To act as the body to control and dispute that may arise between members of the Association, between licenced competitors, or any of them. To set and control the rules for any championship competitions open to licenced competitors of the Association and to register the results.
