Electrolysis Permanent Hair Removal.

Electrolysis is the permanent removal of unwanted hair. It is medically proven and over one hundred and fifty years old. I have post graduate training in electrolysis and over twenty one years’ experience in the “Blend Method”.
The first form of electrolysis was invented in 1885 when a doctor used it for the removal of ingrown eyelashes. This took around thirty seconds to treat individual hairs. Today electrolysis has been perfected into a method called the “Blend Method” a faster more efficient method that takes between 2 and 10 seconds to treat each hair. There should be no scarring and the treatment should be comfortable for the client.

Electrolysis is performed by inserting a tiny probe into the hair follicle. At first you will feel nothing, then according to the clients tolerance, a light current is applied to the area. Normally at this stage I get comments like “is that it?” There are also numbing creams available that work very well if needed.

Electrolysis works by cauterizing the blood capillary that feeds the hair strand. Normally one treatment is sufficient and the hair will not grow back unless the blood supply is too large. In that case two treatments may be needed. It is also important for the client to understand that not all of the hairs in the area are visible at the time of treatment, so for this reason a course of treatments suitable for the individual client is discussed at your first consultation.
