We are excited to welcome Aaron Gamble to the Taranaki Art Show 2026.

You may already be familiar with his striking stag sculpture that recently made its temporary home in the gardens of Tūpare — a powerful corten steel work that captured the attention of many across the region.

Known for his distinctive sculptural style, Aaron creates works that feel both grounded and alive — shaped by landscape, material, and connection to the outdoors.

This year, he’s bringing something a little smaller in scale… but just as spectacular.

A Taranaki artist through and through, Kevin’s work captures the essence of our region — its shifting light, quiet atmosphere, and iconic landscapes.

Working with a refined eye for detail and tone, his paintings often draw on photographic realism while softening into something more contemplative. There’s a calm presence in his work — a sense of stillness that invites you to pause and take it in.

We are delighted to introduce Adam Kingsbury to the Taranaki Art Show 2026.

An emerging New Zealand artist breaking new ground in contemporary art, Adam combines sculpture and light installation to create immersive works that captivate and inspire. Drawing on his background in design and architecture, his practice explores form, space, and illumination—inviting viewers into new dimensions of experience.

Adam’s innovative approach pushes the boundaries of traditional art forms, transforming light into a sculptural medium and redefining how we interact with contemporary art. He is truly one not to be missed at this year’s show.
