Celebrate the festive season with Chroma Chamber Choir in the majestic setting of Nelson Cathedral — Saturday 13 December, 2 pm and 7 pm.

This special 15th Anniversary concert features an inspiring a ca****la programme of 20th and 21st century choral gems by Poulenc, Chilcott, Whitacre, Rachmaninoff, and Tavener. Under the direction of Pete Rainey, with guest artists Rosemary Galton (soprano) and Taemen Lee (organ), Chroma invites you to immerse yourself in rich harmonies and exquisite sound — a true celebration of choral beauty and Christmas spirit.

We had our first rehearsal last night for our next concert 'Mother & Child: a concert of Christmas Music'.
Saturday 23 November, 2.00pm and 7.00pm at Nelson Cathedral if you want to put it in your diary.
We worked on pieces by Victoria, Byrd, Bruckner and Grieg as well as contemporary works by Tavener and Gjeilo. The sound is ethereal, haunting and exquisite. It will sound magical in the lively acoustics of the Cathedral.
