I could not think of a better way to push pause on Martin + Me, than with a moody and romantic his + hers table scape for J + J 🖤
I started this wee side hustle back in 2017, when a creative outlet alongside my career was needed. Since then, I’ve had the honour of styling gatherings and celebrations across New Zealand. It’s been a wild ride and one that I’ve loved.
It’s time now for me to push pause on Martin + Me. Hopefully not indefinitely, but for now, to give me space to focus on other adventures and journeys to be had.
The team behind Martin + Me has allowed me to explore this passion, whilst also pursuing my career, and other aspirations. A huge thank you to my phenomenal husband Dan, without whom this adventure could never have been had. My special and adored friend, turned styling assistant, - thank you for always believing in Martin + Me, and me. To all of our friends and family - thank you all for your unwavering support and encouragement.
Thank you also to the amazing vendors I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside. Kim + Gareth from GK Events Hire] have been kind, authentic and supportive from the very beginning, and have always reflected the integrity and family values Martin + Me is built upon. It’s been a pleasure working with you both, and your amazing collection.
Lastly, thank you to all the clients who have entrusted me with their events. Without you, Martin + Me would never have been a reality, and for that, I’ll be forever grateful.
I will still post from time to time, and probably find it hard to say no to styling for friends and family in the future, but for now it’s ‘see you soon’.
