Had such a great time at The Upcycled Market yesterday.
Was wonderful chatting with other vendors and the people who came through to buy or browse!
I had this lovely lady leave a review for me plus I got a video sent to me of one of my flower headbands being appreciated by a beautiful wee girl over in Oz.
It makes me feel amazing seeing people enjoy the things I make and bringing joy to them 💖

A little custom made peg apron 🌻

I made this for one of my besties for her birthday 💓 she chose the fabrics and said "make it work" so I did :)
It took my patchworking skills and more maths than I thought but here she is!
I love how she came out and It was a fun apron to make and challenged me into thinking a little differently to get the outcome I wanted.

I really wanted to play with textures with this peg apron and found this unique, velvet that I just couldnt leave behind 🥰

Gosh was she sassy to make though! 😆😆
I went through 2 needle breaks which is a first for me! But I love how it turned out and the textured binding was perfect 👌

Being a self taught seamstress, I sometimes have to learn the hard way on how to make things especially with fabrics im not used to using, but I finished her and I'm so happy I did!
Shes not perfect but what is?!
It's really all part of the fun and games 😌✨️

I'm sure she will bring joy to someone's chores 💙

Thought I'd do a quick hi and post a real moment in the life of a hobby seamstress! The toddler is asleep so I thought I'd pop in the ice room 🤣 and do a little something i felt like doing, so here it is. Yes I'm aware I look like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards 🤣 but that's real life you know! Hope it's not too cold wherever you are ! Bring on spring 🌸 I'm so ready!

These were some fun aprons to make, I love that I had enough fabric for a child and toddler size, plus isn't the alien so cute?! 😍
