Nelson Musical Theatre Nelson Musical Theatre is a community-based theatre group in Nelson, New Zealand.

Nelson Musical Theatre has been a part of the Nelson Theatre Scene since the late 1800s. One of the oldest Musical Theatre Societies in New Zealand, we have been creating amazing shows for over 120 years. While we stage high quality shows ourselves, we are also happy to work with anyone in the community that would like to write, produce, or direct a musical.

Nelson Musical Theatre is bringing 9 to 5 The Musical to The Red Door Theatre this September, and we want YOU in it.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or if this is your very first audition, we genuinely cannot wait to meet you. This show is bursting with big personalities, huge laughs, and some seriously iconic Dolly Parton bangers. There's a role for everyone!
