This show is R18 and you can expect to see a sumptuous spectacular of sequins and feathers, risque rhinestoned moments, elegant costumes and many surprises.

Celebrating 15 years of Grandiose.

Naomi - MC
Naomi is a Nelson based actor who loves bringing energy and humour to even the most serious of subjects.
Naomi is well known on the Nelson circuit for her film and theatre work, but also for having seizures all over town! Being a hardcore seizurist does have a light side though, and Naomi is determined to break down the taboo barriers by having a good old laugh about it all.
In the 2024 Nelson Fringe Festival she was nominated for best actress for her role in 'The Trial', and at the Top of the South film festival, she won best supporting actress for 'Gangster Nicknames'.
In the Nelson Fringe 2025 her first solo show, Rampage (the true story of a drug fuelled adventure at Nelson Hospital) was awarded Best Comedy and Best Local Show.

Jasmine Tease - Burlesque & Curator of Curiosi-tease.
The Party Starter herself! With a boss bitch vibe, coupled with some serious in-your-face humour, this sexual comedian of burlesque is here to rock your world.
Whether emceeing or performing she will titillate, torment and tickle your funny b***r or possibly scare the s**t out of you depending on her mood.
Jasmine Tease (she/her) She has been producing shows, teaching and performing for the past 16 years. She is credited with being the driving force behind the local Nelson scene and is affectionately known NZ wide as Mama Tease.
She's won awards, mentored many burlesque babies and travelled the country sharing her brand of big burlesque energy.
She has produced and curated this cabaret over the past 15 years, and is not MCing this show, but will be performing twice.

Verona Vega - Burlesque
Introducing Verona Vega, an industry veteran celebrated for her passion for classic burlesque and innovative performances. Hailing from Nelson and now residing in Dunedin, Verona is a dynamic force in the entertainment world. She runs multiple businesses, rhinestones costumes, and choreographs award-winning group routines.
As a mentor to aspiring performers, she also produces a regular show in Dunedin called Femme, dedicated to empowering women to embrace their sexuality. This year she also produced a sold out season of her first fringe show called Burly Q, which told 200 years of burlesque history in just 50 minutes.
Whether captivating audiences with a sensual fan dance, dazzling with her tassels, or covering herself in baked beans, this whirlwind from the South is guaranteed to please! Ladies and ladies, please welcome to the stage, all the way from Ōtepoti Dunedin, dont slip off of your seats, it’s Verona Vega!
