Melody Inc Melody Inc are: Shirley Dalton, June Lawrence & Val Ives. Melody Inc have been performing together since 2000.

We are a group of experienced entertainers that perform an Andrew Sisters Tribute Show, along with many other popular songs from the 30's, 40's and 50's. We have played for many clubs, charities & events and retirement villages during this time and entertained thousands. The Andrew Sisters were a group of 3 sisters popular throughout the war years. They were one of the first vocal groups inducted

into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame with over 100 songs on the top 30 Billboard charts and 46 songs reaching the top 10 on the Billboard charts. They were America's most popular female singing group during the 1940's, and had major hits with all types of music ranging from swing to country & western. Melody Inc's tribute to the Andrew consists of all their greatest hits like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", "Rum & Coca Cola" and "Bei Mer Bist Du Schon". It is with huge sadness that We advise our lovely followers that today we did our last gig together. We have loved every moment of our journey and our final gig today was fantastic. When we finished today there were many tears and lots of ‘why? You girls are so good’. However, age, some health problems and time have brought us to this decision. We thank one and all for their support over the last 15+ years.

We have loved every moment of our entertaining and thank our loyal friends for their support. Right now we are taking some time out. Our wider family has some health issues and we cannot commit to future dates. Hopefully we will be entertaining you again in the very near future.

Our first rehearsal today for 2016. So good to get together again. We had two very good critics. June's daughter Dee and my daughter Julie. I think we passed the test. Have a few gigs booked already this year. Love what we do. Look forward to entertaining this year. Thank you for your support.
