Kia Ora community. This Saturday please come help us raise awareness for New Zealand’s need for better cancer care. One of our beloved dancers Maria Dabrowski is in need of Life saving treatment and is forced to go to Australia or China for it.

LET’S FILL THE BEACH WITH PEOPLE, HOPE, AND A MESSAGE NEW ZEALAND CAN’T IGNORE 🚨

Join us for a powerful community beach gathering as we come together to create a giant human chain along the Mount Maunganui shoreline — a visible statement of solidarity for every New Zealander impacted by cancer.

We want this to be BIG.
We want to be seen.
We want to make headlines.

Because no family should have to rely on fundraising, overseas treatment, or luck to access lifesaving cancer care.

New Zealanders deserve better cancer treatment options.

It’s about every person who has fought cancer.
Every family carrying heartbreak.
Every friend who has shown up.
Every life impacted by this disease.

This is about community, movement, hope, and standing together to say: people deserve access to treatment and time.

We’ll have music, movement, drone footage capturing the human chain from above, and powerful visuals we hope will spread across New Zealand and beyond. Stay afterwards for refreshments and connection.

Kia ora humans!

Tonight we will be welcoming a special guest Dj - Breeezy, joining us from out of town, and we wish to invite you! 🙂✨

Fresh back from Bali where she has been assisting level 1 Somatic dance trainings, Breeezy creates spaces for embodied self-exploration through movement and music, inviting people to connect more deeply with themselves. She believes in the power of dance as a pathway for processing, expression, and transformation - where presence, freedom, and the feeling of community can be deeply felt and experienced

As the first breaths of winter arrive, we gather to honour this shift inward. A time for deep listening, embodied presence and reconnecting to the subtle rhythms within. The soundscape for the evening will be carefully curated to mirror this journey, building fire from within while also creating space to soften, unravel and sink into the quieter sensations of the body.

Ecstatic Dance is free-form movement practice, accompanied by a soundscape that follows a wave structure. We start out gently, warming bodies up and inviting you into the experience to come. The music then builds steadily, forming a peak of expression for you to go wild. We then expand into a flow state, before bringing you back down to land in a still, resonant space. A complete integrative experience for your body, mind and spirit.

When: 7-9pm Thursday 11th June
Where: Mount Maunganui Community Hall- 345 Maunganui Road.

Price: $25 or 2 for $40 (if you’re bringing someone new) Cash preferred, bank transfer available.

We are excited to welcome .music on the 18th June, a DJ from Barcelona (Spain) travelling the world, creating Ecstatic Dance journeys that invite liberation, emotional release and radical authenticity through movement.

Rather than simply playing music, she creates emotional landscapes: moments of expansion, catharsis, sensuality, and release. Her sets move between softness and intensity, grounding and explosion, always with the intention of creating genuine connection: with oneself, with others, and with the dancefloor as a shared experience.
