South Otago A&P Society is pleased to be hosting the RAS Southern Districts Premier Show for the 2026/27 Season on 28th November 2026 in Balclutha. For the equestrian sections our Schedule has been reviewed, a couple of new classes have been included, for this our 160th Show, the Show layout has had a refresh, we have fabulous Sponsors on board, a new ring Marshall will be on hand to keep things running on time. The map below includes the timetable.
Along with this we have fabulous entertainment for the whole family, so please tag your friends and share this post, to help us make this a wonderful day.
Southern Districts will provide special prizes for the day.

OTAP are seeking feedback regarding changes we are proposing to the Equestrian section of our Annual A&P show.

Due to reduced entries in most equestrian sections, and the rising costs, we are looking into condensing the showing classes to a single day. This may see us cancelling some sections that have had consistently weaker numbers. 🐴

Congratulations to Keevha Wilson and Jackie the Border Romney x black face lamb who took out 2026 Supreme pet of the show, (And takes home the special trophy for a year dating back to 1959!)
