Whare Flat Folk Festival is the kind of event that you just want to experience again and again. We think it's the best way to ring in the new year.
Running from 30th Dec - 3rd Jan with guest artist from near and far willing to share their mahi, music and knowlege, it's a community folkused (see what we did there) event about celebrating cultural identity. Telling the stories and making the music that are part of who we are.
Guest Artist Applications are currently open but are closing on the 7th of June. If you consider yourself a folk artist (or even folk adjacent) with a community approach to sharing what you do and want to join the festival fun, apply now.
