✨ An update from Skye’s Crafts! ✨
Firstly, apologies for the lack of posts lately. After our move to Alexandra, I lost a lot of motivation and found myself questioning where I wanted to take this little business. After taking some time to reflect, I’ve decided that this journey isn’t over just yet!
One exciting change is that a rebrand is on the horizon. The main reason? I’ve never really connected with the name Skye’s Crafts. It was something I quickly scribbled onto a market stall application, and when I was asked for my social media name, I simply stuck with it. While it served its purpose, it no longer feels like the right fit for where I want to go.
Another reason for the change is that I’ve decided to expand beyond crochet. While handmade crochet items will still be a big part of what I do, I have a few other creative hobbies and projects that I’m hoping to introduce towards the end of 2026. I’d love for the new brand to reflect all of these creative ventures rather than just one.
I’m still working out the finer details, but the rebrand will be the first step, followed by a refresh of my Instagram structure. At this stage, I haven’t decided whether everything will stay under one Instagram account or be split across two separate accounts. Facebook will continue to be the place where everything is shared, while Instagram will likely become a little more focused depending on which direction I choose.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me, even during the quieter periods. I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes us, and I can’t wait to share more with you all soon! 🖤
