The Masterton Art Club

The Masterton Art Club The Masterton Art Club is a membership based club for artists from beginner to more experienced.

We also provide opportunities to attend classes and workshops to expand your skills. New members are welcome, contact email [email protected] Club days are on Wednesdays and Thursdays 10am till lunch time, when members work on their own works of art at the club. There are portrait drawing sessions on Tuesday mornings 10am to 12pm, with live models. Printmaking on Friday mornings 10am to 1

pm and other workshops and art classes are run from the club. There’s something happening at the club rooms nearly every day of the week, and new members are welcome. For more information contact the club at [email protected]

The monthly club night gathering was held on Wednesday 27 May.

Thank you to those members that came along to hear our guest speaker and club member, Elissa Smith. Elissa talked about her artistic journey and we enjoyed hearing the stories behind her artwork in the current exhibition - which is open until the end of June.

The theme for 'Artwork of the month' in May was Town and Village. This month we put it to the vote and had a secret ballot to decide. The winner was Elissa Smith.
