Today marks one year since the passing of Bob Wilton.
Bob wasn't just part of Masterton Motorplex, he was the driving force behind it. From the early days of drag racing in Masterton through to the development of the purpose-built facility we race at today, Bob's vision, determination, and countless hours of hard work helped create something that generations of racers and spectators continue to enjoy.
Twelve months on, his presence is still felt around the track, and his contribution to New Zealand drag racing will never be forgotten.
We're grateful for everything he did for Masterton, our sport, and our racing community.
