Wairarapa Kids' Choir is ready to accept new members aged 7 and older who love to sing and act.
Every 2 years we put on a musical stage show. This year it's a newly rewritten adaptation of Oliver Twist suited for school aged children.
Come and find out about this exciting and humorous musical this Friday at the Courthouse, Holloway Street Carterton from 3.50 - 4.50.
Meet the existing choir, hear the script, learn a couple of songs and share the afternoon tea!

WKC would like to thank all the many people who attended their recent concert in Greytown. Almost $700 was raised and given to Ngahuia Wildlife Bird Rescue.
Thanks also to the invited guests from Rathkeale, St. Matthew's Collegiate and string players from WYO who helped to make this an exciting concert.

Wairarapa Kids' Choir has just raised over $1000 for the Carterton Indoor Pool. Thank you to everyone who supported our concert including Kuranui Strings, In-Motion School of Dance and The Fern & Thistle Pipe Band.
We will soon be accepting new members. Watch this space.

Wairarapa Kids' Choir - save the date!

Thursday 6th June, 6:45pm, Carterton Events Centre

Make sure you don't miss the WKC's annual fundraising concert!
This year the children have looked through songs from our archives and have voted on their favourites to perform for you again; there’s a great selection including musical theatre, Beatles hits and even one or two songs with a ‘watery theme’ to tie in with our chosen charity! We've also invited other young performers from around the Wairarapa to join us, as well as students from the In-Motion School of Dance.
The most popular charity amongst the WKC this year was the Carterton Indoor Swimming Pool Project - we want to help fundraise for the urgent upgrade of the indoor pool's building (the only indoor pool south of Masterton in the Wairarapa). Check out their Fb page to see other fundraising efforts and updates.

Come and join us for an enjoyable evening of song and dance, and help contribute towards a worthy local cause.

Suggested koha $5 per person at the door.
