Very sad news this morning whānau, New Zealand electronic music pioneer & former George Nights host Jay Bulletproof has passed away.

As a DJ & producer he was at the forefront of the early NZ drum & bass scene. He went on to produce a wide variety of electronic music over his life, winning a NZ Music Award for Best Electronica Album for Soundtrack To Forever in 2010.

In his time at George Jay's passion for breaking new artist's music on the radio was instrumental in launching many of the acts you still hear on air and at gigs today.
