Everyone that joins wants to train in Muay Thai and learn something. Some members want to become fighters. Some just want to do it for fitness and confidence. To the members that want to become fighters. Saying you want to be a fighter and showing it is two different things. Words mean nothing without action. Every coach in a Muay Thai gym wether it's He toa or any other club always expects their fighters to be consistent at training. Commitment and dedication. The trainers try their hardest to get their fighters match ups for upcoming tournaments. Trainers expect their fighters to be at training working hard and be ready to fight any time. If the fighter cannot commit to train they should communicate with the trainer, not disappear for a while and still expect to get a fight. It doesn't work like that. Every Saturday we spar with the Sabretooth fighters only some He Toa fighters turn up the more would be better. We have fun and learn stuff. Be prepared to work hard and be consistent if you want to be a fighter.
