Our Story - by Janis Kieninger

We fell in love with New Zealand 2007 and immigrated from Germany 2008. The nature and animal life is stunningly beautiful and catches my attention every day. I love doing lino cuts and the prints portrayed on this site are hand made with love and passion by myself.

My parents Maggie and Joe Kieninger are both artists and live right next door. My dad loves woodblock printing and painting, my mum is an amazing versatile artist with millinery, painting, feltwork and much more...

I hope you are enjoying this website and appreciate the love, passion and enthusiasm that goes into Artwork New Zealand
