Tsunami Sound is a professional recording studio, offering fantastic environment, top line gear, experienced staff, great sound and products, in a relaxing country atmosphere with really affordable prices. Heaps of extras like free accomodation on site, fresh home cooked bread, great coffee, and even the chance to win free recording in a draw on our website with people who love their job and care about your music. TMV also offers a teaching Audio School that runs affordable intereactive weekend workshops for those wanting to learn how to run their own systems, how to record, get good sounds, be a sound engineer, how to mix/master and run a studio. We have our first spring concert coming up 19th Sept at our new venue 14 Potts Road Levin.
There are tickets still available so consider joining us at the Tsunami Lounge for a great night out. We would love to see you. Karen is a ex-local girl, with an impressive voice and both she and Steve are seasoned performers.

When Dog and KC fire up, it’s groove on for sure.
Individually impressive and together formidable, these two road seasoned heavyweight roots artists deliver a powerful, groove-laden blues sound. The music sits deep in the pocket — gritty, warm, pulsing — every note hand-tooled, every song bleeding. Guitars weave, spar, and lock into rhythms that won’t quit. Harmonies soar. The room leans in.
Their set travels from Basin Street to the back porches of Mississippi, up through Chicago, and lands right here in Aotearoa’s indie-blues scene. Expect a mix of acoustic and electric feels, upcycled standards and strong original material spanning slow burn ballads, rootsy bluesrock vibes, and upbeat boogie ‘n swing. The good times will definitely roll. Raw, cranking rhythm ’n’ blues and good time grooves!

Well the studio is finally functional and had our first clients (but old friends) this weekend. Grant, Mark and Tim from Hawkes Bay and Taranaki. Yahoo! Some fine tuning and a lovely time had by all in the new facilities. Dave is back at the console. Its been a year, but we are back.
