It's been ages since I posted .... winter blues got to me a bit.
So today I wrote a job list to help motivate me (you know the sort of job list that has all those little jobs that just keep getting put off).
It got pretty long pretty fast.

Then I decided to go outside in the sun and feed the animals. Daffodil Snowflake was really enjoying the last day of winter.

Maybe tomorrow I will make a start on the list??

Look what arrived in my paddock this morning.... Big Momma has finally had her lambs - two beautiful Valais Blacknose babies (one boy and one girl).
That's Jill, her lamb from last year, checking up on her.

Spring is arriving early in my garden.
I love the little forget-me-nots. In a few weeks the garden will be a sea of blue.

So I went to the Waikato for a bike ride along the river and Karapiro Lake, and came home with two new additions.... baby girl guinea pigs. They are still un-named as my granddaughter hasn't met them yet.

Hairy, dirty horses just waiting for their next feed. It's tough being rested over winter months.

we had a hedgehog passing through today. Francis the alpaca was very interested
