The South Coast Arts Trail 2024 (4-5th May) is set to be bigger and better than ever, with nearly 40 galleries, schools, churches and artists opening their doors to the public! Stay tuned on here for artist introductions and any updates.

Last weekend's Newtown Open Studios showed how art creates joy - bringing people and communities together.
Firstly thank you to all the people who came out to support our local artists.
Thanks to the artists - Duncan Sargent, Emma Prestidge, John Sheehan, Creative Taro (Jordain), Biddy Bunzl, Paul Forrest, Bella Foster, Craig Beardsworth, Marnie White, Stuart Morris, Tania Sullivan and George Angus - for generously sharing their art and time. And to the talented artists at Newtown School.
Thanks to Rice Pudding, Newtown Community Centre - Te Whare Hapori o Ngā Puna Waiora and Mangubhai & Lakhiben Parbhu whanau for providing pop-up venues. Also thanks to Frocks On Bikes for leading the Tour de Studios and to Black Coffee for the very good fortune cookies. Plus special thanks to Martin&Anna and the Newtown Festival team for all their support this year and in previous years.
