Turner Centre Performing Arts, Events and Conference venue Discover what's on at the Turner Centre! A performing arts, events and conference venue in the heart of Kerikeri.

The 408-seat theatre attracts international and local shows to the Bay of Islands. It also has multi-purpose, flexible spaces available for the community and commercial companies to use. Whether you are going to a conference, workshop, board meeting or other event, there is always something on at the Turner Centre! The Turner Centre hosts international and national touring productions, as well as

locally produced performances and this produces a full and varied yearly programme. The other spaces have a number of community and commercial clients that use the versatile spaces for a wide range of activities - meetings, seminars, conferences right through to band practice, choirs and drama clubs. The Turner Centre is a community owned venue run by a charitable, not-for-profit company.

We love seeing artists transform our venue into something completely different...

Local musicians John Bell and Alan Thomas, along with drummer Steve Cournane used the John Dalton auditorium as a space to record their new jazz album 'Citala' - which has been great music for us to work along to for the past few weeks.
