Nia is a movement form inspired by nine arts - jazz, duncan and modern dance, tae kwon do, aikido and tai chi, and the alexander technique, feldenkrais and yoga. The wisdoms and movement inspiration from these forms combined, make Nia a unique mindful movement that provides

Move For Hospice is on again Tuesday Aug 4th.
Nia for Hospice is on this coming Tuesday in Kerikeri at the Community Fitness Gym.

Classes are the first Tuesday of each month, 6.15pm to 7.15pm.

You can book using your Community Gym App, simply click on the link below or grab a friend and just come along and sign in at reception on the night.

Cost is a Koha for Hospice Mid-Northland.
Wear comfortable Gym or Yoga Wear.
Bring a water bottle and kick off your shoes!!

Absolute beginners to dance are most welcome.
If you love moving to music you’ll love Nia (knee-yah).

Getting started with a new Nia Offering in a New town sometimes takes time to find the right Venue. Im so Thankful to Sport Taranaki for supporting me with endorsement from the Taranaki Strength and Balance programme and PD NZ. This class is available online and at this Fabulous new venue, looking out over the ocean!! YaY !
