The Black Box Theatre is excited to host the Creative Filmmakers' Workshop with Kerikeri Theatre Company's own, Harley Alexander, on May 25th and 26th. This intensive, free two-day course, running from 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM, is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring filmmakers aged 16 and up.

Dive into the world of filmmaking as Harley Alexander, an award-winning short film writer and director, guides you through the essentials of screenplay writing and film shooting. This workshop is perfect for novice writers and directors, offering a solid foundation in storytelling, digital camera techniques, microphone use, and lighting. By the end of the course, you'll have the chance to shoot a scene with professional actors.
