Silent Auction Extension!
We have had several inquiries about things that did not sell on the night of the auction closing. We have decided to do an extension of the Auction with the remaining items.

Each item now has a reserve price and a buy it now price, which you can find by clicking on any item you are interested in. Bidding can either be online or in person, but online bids will not be updated until Monday, 4 May, with priority given to in-person bidders. To place a bid on Facebook, simply write your bidding price in the comments below the item you are interested in.

Bidding will open on Thursday, 30 April at 6 pm. The auction will close at noon on Thursday, 7 May.

Funds raised from the Silent-Auction Extension will go towards 2 adjustable dress forms to be used by the Sustainable Fashion & Upcycling for Teens class and our members, as well as a Fringe Twister to be used by our Diva Weavers Group.

We've added a Monday afternoon Basic Watercolour class from 3 pm to 5 pm, starting on 11 May.

Taught by the wonderful Robyn Eastgate-Manning, this six-week course is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone returning to painting after a break.

Small group, supportive atmosphere, and you'll be home well before dinner.

Treat your Mum to something calming & creative this Mother's Day ...or treat yourself, Mum!

Join us on Sunday, 10 May, for From Chaos to Calm: Finding Flow in Patterns, a full-day Zentangle workshop with the wonderful Ashwini Chaskar at Karori Arts & Crafts Centre in Karori, Wellington.

Spend Mother's Day doing something beautiful, creative, and calming together (with your favourite child, obviously). No art experience needed, just curiosity and good company.

We have a few places open in our Sculpting Animals class with Sarah Dean, starting Monday, 4 May, in Karori.

We have 2 spots left in our Sustainable Refashioning and Fashion Upcycling Class for Teens, starting next Tuesday afternoon! The class runs from 4:15 to 5:30. We’ve had students from all the major secondary schools joining us, arriving on time and ready to create!

The kids have made some truly amazing and creative pieces in this class. It is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves sewing and wants to learn more. If you know a young person who would enjoy this experience, we would love to have them join us!
