We are a Māori and Pasifika Cultural Arts Trust based in Murihiku.

Each year we run a number of exhibitions, workshops, programmes and events that support and uplift our Māori and Pasifika communities 💛 Mīharo Murihiku Trust works to contribute to a richer community by celebrating Māori and Pasifika cultures for all to value. Our events include the following:

This evening we celebrated Night 2 of Rangatahi Toa, our high school showcase! ✨

We are so proud of each and every person who took the stage, sharing their passion and talents with us all ❤️‍🔥

They truly left it all on the atamira, and we couldn’t be prouder of the energy and pride they brought to the stage! 🎉🖤

A huge mihi to all of our incredible rangatahi, kaiako, whānau and supporters who made these past two nights so special 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

Mālō! 🌺

It’s Day 4 of Murihiku Polyfest, and as we gear up for our final night showcase – Rangatahi Toa Night 2 – we wanted to share some of the fun our rangatahi have been having 🎉

As part of our youth mentoring programme, Whakamanahia Te Rangatahi, these young people have the chance to come and volunteer for the week of Polyfest 😊

We take them through different workshops, such as media and MC skills, and then they are paired up with our Polyfest Key Leads. By Wednesday, Murihiku Polyfest is a true 'by rangatahi, for rangatahi' festival 🙌🏽

We are so proud of every single one of them, and we can’t wait to see them shine tonight!! 🌟
