I made a donation to the SPCA as part of my pledge to support animals in need. This came from a percentage of my sales from my Celestial Exhibition, Heritage and Art, featuring large felt artworks of animals. Did you know the SPCA have op shops and merchandise on their website? This is another way to support them.

Hanan drew orrery drawings and made his own orrery. An orrery is a mechanical heliocentric (sun centred) model of the solar system. It has a crank handle to drive the clockwork mechanism making the planets rotate and orbit the sun. Hanan would have used his orrery in his public lectures to demonstrate the positions and motions of the plants and moons. Credit to Orreries UK for the image.
