Nineteen artists exhibiting ninety five artworks make up this years Get Fired Ceramics Exhibition, accompanied by Rod Upchurch’s Paintings, Main Gallery at Kumeū Arts until September 26th!

The Supreme Winner will receive a prize package valued at $2,190, including:
$1,000 cash
A 2-night stay for 1 or 2 people at Bethells Beach Cottages, valued at $690

--NEW CLASS-- Introduction to Raranga with Maria Kaka, 6-week course
Starting 14th of October
Wednesdays 10:30am - 1:30pm
Cost: $200.00 All materials are provided

Through guided demonstrations and hands-on learning, you will be introduced to basic raranga techniques, tikanga, preparation of materials and the foundations of weaving. Each week builds on the last, allowing you to develop your confidence and skills in a supportive environment while connecting with others through raranga.

This six-week course is a space to slow down, learn with your hands, connect with others and take time to reflect through your weaving. Come along, share knowledge and your experiences with others, and enjoy the process of creating something with your own hands.

No previous experience is required.

Come along and enjoy step by step instructions from experienced tutor Amber Emm, to paint a shell with a sandy background.

This full day workshop is for people who have a little experience in painting oils and would like a bit more of a challenge.
Taught by professional artist and teacher with 30 yrs experience
