For years, Global Stainless Artworks has been where we've shared collaborations with artists on unique stainless-steel sculptures, artwork and custom pieces. But there is another side to what we do at Global Stainless Limited, and the industrial side isn't as separate as it might seem.

The industrial work is creative too, it takes design, craftsmanship, precision and plenty of skill to turn ideas into functional reality.

We are bringing both sides together on our new Global Stainless Limited page, so you can see the artistry, people, skill and fabrication behind it all.

We will be gradually winding down this page, so come with us to the new page and follow along. We hope to see you there.

It's NZ Suffrage day this Sunday 19th September, so we wanted to re-visit a piece of artwork directly linked to this.

The Beacon has been lighting the way in honour of New Zealand’s women’s suffrage movement since just before the COVID-19 lockdowns began. Artist Lang Ea conceptualised this sculpture as a reflection of the courageous achievements made more than a century ago.

Achievements that continue to light the way for women today and for generations to come. With today being NZ Suffrage Day, we are reminded what an honour it was to have played a part in bringing this vision to life, delivering the level of precision, craftsmanship and workmanship this remarkable sculpture deserved

‘Splendour’ is a 1m mirror-polished sphere, poised on a sweeping mirrored curve, bringing the sculpture to just over 2m in height.

Our mirror-polished works are what we’re best known for. Crafted with precision and installed in spaces around the world. Artists, architects, and designers trust us to bring their vision to life, because it’s what we do best.

Great article below written about Kimi and the involvement that the Wellington Sculpture Trust had to play in it.

“Getting it right”, Simon Wilson’s article on Kimi/You Are Here and the successes of the Wellington waterfront in the latest Listener.

Kimi / You Are Here.

A deceptively simple statement, transformed into a powerful public artwork by Seung Yul Oh.

This piece demanded precision, restraint, and respect for the artist’s vision at every stage of fabrication.

Alongside or industrial expertise, we specialise in stainless steel artworks and are proud to work with global artists to manufacture millions of dollars worth of artworks right here in South Taranaki. Who would’ve thought some of what we’ve produced has ended up all around the world?! 🤩
