Celebrating NZ Music Month with a massive night of live music, culture and connection, the Poutama Studio Showcase brings together some of Aotearoa’s most exciting established and emerging artists under one roof.

Headlined by award-winning Māori hip hop artist TIPENE, the showcase highlights the strength of independent music in Aotearoa while creating space for the next generation of artists coming through the Poutama Studio movement. With a strong focus on mentorship, collaboration and artist development, this event is about building real pathways for young creatives and giving audiences a chance to witness the future of NZ music live on stage.

Fresh off multiple Māori Music Award wins and more than 50 million streams across platforms, TIPENE leads a stacked lineup featuring rising artists C33Y, J4K and Regg Oh6 alongside a powerful collective of wāhine artists including Hamo Dell, Te Paea Seasons, Ariana Henare and Honey. Together they bring a mix of soulful vocals, reo Māori expression, acoustic storytelling and contemporary Aotearoa sounds to the stage.

The showcase celebrates both established talent and the new generation of artists making their mark, giving audiences a chance to support authentic NZ music directly from the grassroots level. From hip hop and soul to live acoustic moments and high-energy performances, the night reflects the diversity and strength of Māori and independent music in Aotearoa today.

More than just a concert, the Poutama Studio Showcase is about community, collaboration and supporting local artists so the next wave of talent can continue to grow and thrive.
