..safety is always first here at Escapist.

Even though every staff member is now a certified first aider, the best safety plan starts with accident prevention.

In this case, preventing a fall before it happens, making sure that the work equipment is safe to use and asking for help as needed.

So we always make sure that the ladder is safe to use and erected on flat surface, with anti-slip rubber. And for extra precaution, we add in an extra person to help hold the ladder!
.and that is also why we always give people garlic as safety protection against Cassius, the resident Vampire. Consider it as your PPE! 😝

Throwback to the time we completed our Workplace First Aider training with Practical Training Solution in early August.

We were pleasantly surprised at how much our team enjoyed our first aid training. Our trainer was super knowledgeable, full of practical tips and tricks.

We get to practice doing first aiding on dummies and each other, training muscle memories and what to look for in real life situation, not just on paper.

The best part was we get to practice and quizzed until we were all confident with our knowledge, why we were doing it and how. Incredibly practical, just like the name promised, thank you Practical Training Solutions!

Congratulations to all of our escape teams over the past seven days. It's been an emotional & busy week with the closing of Heist 2.0. But don't worry - we're hard at work on our next room and we cannot wait to tell you all about it.
