MASTER FRANK FU ARE READY TO UNLEASH KUNG FU METAL. 🥋⚔️

If you've never experienced Master Frank Fu live, you're in for something completely different.

Blending Eastern traditional instruments, Western distortion, martial arts-inspired theatrics and bilingual vocals, their unmistakable "Kung Fu Metal" sound delivers crushing riffs, cinematic atmosphere and a performance unlike anything else in Auckland's heavy music scene.

Featuring members also connected to House of Ousey and Stormforge, this is a band that has to be seen to be believed.

Unfortunately, In Reverie are no longer able to perform at our Big Fan Dress-Up Party on Saturday 8 August.

Stepping in to open the night are Ode To Suffering – an emerging metalcore band from Kaipara College who recently placed second in the regional Smokefreerockquest heats. They're bringing crushing riffs, huge energy and are ready to kick the night off in style.

Big Fan welcomes Master Frank Fu, Fork, Earthscraper, In Reverie for a massive night of heavy music, wild creativity and unforgettable live performances.

This is a full dress-up party. Come as your wildest self: samurai, fairy, robot, biker, fantasy warrior, creature from another dimension, or something nobody is prepared for. Dressing up is encouraged, not required. Whether you arrive in full costume or simply ready for chaos, you’re part of the spectacle.

Master Frank Fu brings their unmistakable Kung Fu Metal sound, blending Eastern traditional instruments, Western distortion, martial-arts-inspired theatrics and bilingual vocals into a cinematic, high-energy performance unlike anything else in Auckland’s heavy scene.
