PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

It was with great difficulty that we came to this decision, but unfortunately we are a business and if we want to continue bringing you great events, we have to make decisions that are tough and will upset a handful of people.

Weather isn’t something we can control, and we did everything we could to assure everyone still had an enjoyable time.

No refunds will be issued for those who did not attend The Lekker Festival 2023 due to unwillingness. We stated on several occasions that we will be going ahead with the event, rain or shine. We advised everyone to bring gazebos and wet weather gear, and a lot of people did so and had a fantastic time. We even had wonderful periods of sunshine.

We do understand that attendees from north of Auckland Harbour Bridge could not come through due to road blocks, this is a situation we have assessed and we will offer you a special discount for The Lekker Festival 2024. This will be emailed to you once The Lekker Festival 2024’s lineup is announced.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and we understand you may feel dissatisfied with this announcement, it is just as unpleasant for us as it is for you because we would’ve loved to see you there having a great time.

We hope to see you at the next one.

We are so grateful to each and every person who played a part in The Lekker Festival 2023.
