Appreciate Post Alert 🚨: This journey is only just beginning, and every step we take is guided by God’s hand. His presence has shaped our path, our purpose, and the love we carry into every moment. We pray that everyone who has been a part of this adventure feels the true joy that fills our hearts, because what we have to give is simple yet powerful: love, peace, and a place where every girl can feel seen, valued, and uplifted. We’re all so grateful for one another & for every single person who has supported us by sharing, loving & attending our events. The best is yet to come ❤️🫰😍

Faahi Tapu he Vagahau Niue – Niue Language Week

The 2025 theme for Niue Language Week is 'Fakatapunu, Ofania, mo e Fakaaoga e Vagahau Niue! - Elevate, Cherish, and use Vagahau Niue!'

This week, we celebrate the beauty of the Niue language — a treasure that connects us to our identity, culture, and ancestors. Let’s continue to honour, share, and keep our language alive for the generations to come.

Kaliloa will always hold a special place in our hearts.

As we honour our mothers and give thanks for all that they do, our hope is to continue echoing their strength, love, and faithfulness — sharing those same values with our community and everyone around us.

Wisdom truly flows from our mothers, and this event was a powerful reminder of that ❤️‍🔥

Station 2 – Beauty

In today's world, where beauty is defined in so many different ways, we created this station to remind everyone that true beauty often lies in the simplest moments.

At this station, mothers and daughters were invited to create something meaningful using just the materials they were given. As they crafted, they talked, laughed, and connected — and in those shared moments, true beauty revealed itself 💗

Station 1 – Wisdom

This station was such a beautiful learning moment for us all. We learned about the importance of Tapa and how it was traditionally created back in the day. Tongan women would gather in the village, working together to create tapa as a way of storytelling, celebration, and preserving culture.

We all had the chance to create our very own tapa. This process was truly special to witness and be part of. A hands-on experience that connected us to culture, creativity, and talanoa 😍

For this Kaliloa event, we wanted to try something new — something meaningful and impactful. As a group, we came up with the idea of doing a speed dating-style experience designed to bring mothers and daughters together in a space filled with laughter, love, and connection.

Inspired by who we are and what Tui ke ‘alaha ‘a fafine embodies, we designed three interactive stations based on the following message: “Together, we celebrate the art of weaving together the beauty, wisdom, and strength of women.”

Each station sparked heartfelt conversations rooted in shared experiences, history, and generational wisdom — reminding us that weaving these threads together is at the heart of who we are as women. ❤️‍🔥

The welcoming of the Kaliloa event was filled with 'ofa, laughter, and connection.

It was a beautiful moment to honor and embrace our mothers, daughters, and sisters—coming together in the spirit of unity, culture, and love.

A beautiful and meaningful afternoon spent with mothers and daughters of all ages, celebrating what Kaliloa is all about 🙌🏼

As we engaged in the various activities together, we shared wisdom, laughs and lived experiences, bridging the gap of understanding between generations 🤍

A big malo lahi to everyone who attended today. We hope that Kaliloa can continue to serve as a space for mothers and daughters to thrive together ✨
