500 copies of first edition, this copy sold for 60k. Imagine how different the process would be for a writer who also had first edition NFT. You would have collected royalties of all the transactions of the book going from one collector to another.

For an established writer, how hard do you think it would be to get a fan or investor to invest 60k in an exclusive NFT? How much for example Wētā Workshop and Peter Jackson would get for exclusive collection of LoTR NFTs? Or James Patterson for his exclusive book NFTs?

The rare first edition hardback copy of the novel had been valued at half the amount.
