Fur real… I’ve been living in a Cat hole. 🐾
For a couple weeks, it’s been all paws on deck for the season of Cats — fur, whiskers, and more eyeliner than you can shake a tail at.
It started with the marketing shoots (purr-fectly captured by featured at the end of my reel) and rolled straight into the nightly transformations.
When the season began, my nights were then spent in the makeup room, turning performers into the iconic feline characters — about 3–4 faces a night, out of a 30-strong cast. Each design meticulously curated by our 'paw-some' leader and HoD, Cat Dwyer, who, together with our makeup team, worked tirelessly to make every cat stage-ready. Watching each performer morph into their character was pure magic.
Thank you to every 'cat' that trusted me with their faces during the course of the show 🙏 Your confidence in me means more than you know.
Now that the curtain’s closed, I’m already missing the pre-show chaos, the makeup room banter, and the endless supply of ridiculous conversation topics.
It’s been an honour to be a very small part of this one-of-a-kind show and it's remarkable success, and I’m walking away with new friendships, great memories, and a little more glitter in my soul (and probably still in my kit).🐾
