While Jonty’s family were up from Wellington to watch Parade, they were also able to have a look at the venue for Deller and Clarence St Theatre’s next show.

From our cast, crew, and band, thank you to everyone who came to watch our show of Parade.

Parade is at its core a story about love and resilience. It challenges us to think about how quickly truth can be distorted, and how fear can shape communities in ways that leave lasting harm.

This show carries real weight, both historically and even today. We’re very proud of the work our cast and crew have poured into telling this story with care and honesty. Thank you to our audiences for engaging with it so thoughtfully and for also recognising the importance of stories like this.
