This phase stripped me down to bare bones (literally and metaphorically.)

It pushed me to find language large enough for the complexity of my experience.

The poetry I found and wrote at that time became the taproots of a new stronger, deeper, fuller life.

I'm on a mission to support as many women (and the occasional man) as I can to find language large enough for who they are, and who they are becoming.

This is what I'm talking about when I say poetry isn't only what ends up on the page, it's the stuff of life that impresses on us, moves us, changes us, long before and long after we've languaged it. The stuff that makes us and our world larger.

My inspiration is the river, unhurried, she makes her own way. Slowly, steadily, following the path of least resistance, the one that feels good, true, and natural.

If you're feeling the pressure to become bigger, faster, better, here's your reminder that there's another way. A more poetic way even.
