One from a school night this week. Quite happy with how this turned out. An idea to come here a couple months ago, but the tides scared me. Unfortunately we had to contend with the moon this night, so I had to make do with what I could. Absolutely love this image.

Weather had me doubting I'd get an astro shoot in this month at all. Managed to squeeze this one in regardless. The airglow ended up doing most of the work, lighting up the west with gold and giving the Milky Way something to punch through. Not a bad result for a night I nearly wrote off.

I'm so incredibly proud to announce I managed to score some awards from the Iris Awards by NZIPP - the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography

Its crazy to me I was able to get an award, let alone to get 4 and one of them be a Silver Distinction!! I'm so proud of my work and I thank everyone for their support and love!

Let's see what we can do next year!
