Just small glimpse into the reality of being in a small local business and tattoo industry. I’d like to highlight I am not a tattoo artist and I’ll share a few piercing misconceptions in future. There has been some misconceptions we have faced over the years maybe some that some of you may not realise 💕

THINGS I WILL SAY NO TO AS YOUR PIERCER⬇️

1️⃣ I have mentioned before the risks and reasons as to why I do not perform snake eyes 💕 other piercers can and do perform them and that’s cool. However I won’t provide that service. ☺️

2️⃣ Piercing minors is a big NO for me especially under five. I will eventually do a video explaining why I do not pierce minors. I must admit years ago I did provide the service to some. Thinking that atleast if I was to do it it would be in a good clean environment and also safer with needles. Since then I have taken that service away and will no longer do it.

3️⃣ Cannula needles! They are interesting. However cannula needles are made for drawing blood. Not for piercing. And the plastic sleeve around the outside ekkk!

4️⃣ PREGNANT wahine also big NO! Your immune system is already compromised looking after and growing a small human! Healing a piercing adds pressure to your immune system.

5️⃣ Gun piercings! I cannot believe they are still offered however I will do a video on why gun piercings are a NO also there is a lot of information as to why gun piercings are not a safe practice to perform ☺️

6️⃣ Multiple piercings in one sitting. Remember piercings are “wounds” your body is going to need to heal them all. And healing a lot of fresh piercings at once can be trouble. I tend to offer three in one sitting depending on which piercings it is.

And lastly I may sound negative with the things I do not provide, however I’m not just here to “take your money” haha proper piercings to me are much more than that 💕💕
